Head of Finance

Skills and experience

  • Build and implement Finance Infrastructure in China and HK
    • Develop and set-up China and HK’s tax, financial and accounting system to ensure compliance with the local tax regulations and audit requirements.
    • Collaborate with the local tax bureau, auditors and other third parties related to finance issues
    • Review relevant service agreements and business contracts to ensure acting for the company’s best interest.
    • Support the set-up of HK entity
    • Identify potential financial/tax risk and opportunities of the operating entities and provide solutions to address them.
    • Responsible for accounting and financial activities of the operating entities and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.

    Accounting Management

    • Oversee and optimize the Month-end Closing process
    • Oversee all aspects of accounting treatment
    • Review the statutory reports
    • Oversee the variances & cashflow
    • Review the balance sheet related reporting and forecasting
    • Develop financial reviews and provide investment advice.
    • Develop annual budget and forecasting process
    • Support year-end Audit including annual financial statements.

    Compliance & legal

    • Oversee the tax requirements (payroll tax, BAS statements) for compliance
    • Oversee the overall financial process across APAC to ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

 

Successful candidate will have

  • CPA required
  • Experienced in management of the team
  • Strong strategic commercial acumen while able to be hand-on.
  • Knowledge and experience in compliance requirements and tax regulations in China/HK and ANZ
  • Experience in set up finance infrastructure and account process
  • Well-developed communication and relationship building skills with all level of workforce
  • Fluent both English and Chinese (reading, written, and spoken).

The role will lead all sales efforts and initiative in ANZ and play an integral role in helping to drive the revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Management of all sales activities, and key accounts;
  • Channel optimisation;
  • Develop and deliver annual sales channel budgets and business plan;
  • Contribute to the preparation of the sales plan & budget – establish & monitor sales targets;
  • Achieve sales and profit targets through networking and repeat business;
  • KPI and Performance reporting
  • Maximise sales margins and profitability;
  • To coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve target;
  • Lead planning of account events and seminars, gather information on industry movements and market trends;
  • Lead a team of account executives.

 

Successful candidate will have

  • 10+ years in channel management with expertise in cosmetic & supplement products or consumer products in ANZ;
  • Solid experience in growing and managing, new and existing channels such as distributors, gift stores (Daigou channel) and pharmacies, health food stores and supermarkets;
  • Ability to develop and implement channel strategies to grow the business;
  • Strong network and partnerships with key accounts;
  • Strong commercial acumen and data/KPI driven;
  • Highly agile, entrepreneurial, and strategic;
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
